I was in The Miami Herald earlier this week. I write as well as cartoon. I do a daily blog for our little village called the Coconut Grove Grapevine, which I had actually stopped a few months ago, after producing it for almost eight years, but I’m back now.

What’s funny about this is that I did a story about the new Pan Am museum in our village and I wrote the story and sent a few photos, one small one was of me, this one you see, it was sent from my iPhone! Not even a good picture, but as is the state of publishing these days, everything is digital.

It’s a little embarrassing in that I wrote the article and then there I am so large in the photo, when the whole thing is about the Pan Am store and museum. I received so many emails, texts and phone calls (it’s nice to see the printed paper is still in fashion, that so many people saw it), but I had to keep reminding people that it wasn’t about me, it was about Pan Am.

But any press is good press and I’ll take it!
