Return of Twin Peaks?
on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 1:10 amThere’s talk of Twin Peaks, David Lynch’s weird 80s tv show coming back to tv. I guess it would be a good fit for Syfy or something.
I was really into the show back into the day, but it seemed like the show went on and on (for two seasons), yet nothing much happened. Yet it was so strange.

The 1980s was my favorite decade and my favorite time of life, so I suppose anything that happened back then is great in my head at this point. But my main memory of Twin Peaks involved my friend George, who had come home with me from happy hour that night so that I could watch Twin Peaks, I guess he was gonna watch with me and then go home.
I do remember him being so drunk that he was in the bathroom on the floor hugging the toilet for most of that episode. I would check on him every time a commercial came on, but I was so into the show at the time, that I just left him to his own devices while I watched in the show in the living room.
That is my main memory of Twin Peaks!
I have a similar memory of Thirtysomething. Remember that show? I loved that too, same period in time.
Once my college friends and I watched all of them over a weekend. We ate little except cherry pie and donuts and drank coffee. Cooper is the best!
That coffee always looked so good. You could almost smell it through the tv!
